Small town feeling, big city services

When I first moved to Napa, I was looking for the perfect bank, and I found it. I have had excellent service every time I have been there. It has a small town feel in that all the tellers and managers are very personable and friendly and seem to have longevity, yet offers big bank services like on-line banking and transfers.Every so often, they run a promotion where you can sign up for free checking. For six years now, I have been charged only a $1 POS fee monthly, but have never been charged any other type of fee, even when I did not have direct deposit available from my employer. The offer is good for 125 years (in honor of their anniversary) OR until I bounce a check, which has not occurred since they also offer an integrated savings account. Another feature is that they are regional enough that I have one where ever I seem to go, upvalley, Sonoma, in the City, all over.They have several solutions for savings and investing with someone right on site to help you, as well as a very easy to navigate website. For big city services in a small town atmosphere, I highly recommend Bank of the West.
